The Arrowhead area is a great area to raise a family, but after taking care of the kids all day, sometimes mom and dad need a night out or a place to grab Sunday brunch! Look no further than Urban Margarita! A fun and trendy Mexican restaurant that is located off 67th Avenue and the 101, they offer a wide variety of classic mexican dishes. Urban Margarita also offers Sunday Brunch and a Happy Hour that goes on all week long. The restaurant describes itself as, “elevated fresh Mexican fare with influences from Mexico, Los Angeles and New Mexico.”
When you walk in you are welcomed to an intimate, relaxing environment. The interior is hip and modern, but the true show stopper is the beautiful patio. One end of the patio has a fireplace while the other side has cute string lights that will look perfect in a #GNO Instagram photo.
The menu offers a variety of fresh and yummy entries as well as a variety of margaritas to pair perfectly with your meal. Entrees included favorites such as tacos and fajitas alongside elegant dishes such as the Pan Roasted Salmon. Although they have a long wine and beer list, the true staple in any Mexican restaurant is its margaritas. From a classic Arizona favorite, the prickly pear margarita, to cucumber jalapeno, you’ll be sure to find your personal favorite.
One thing that really makes this place stand out is the fact that they are so willing to accommodate food restrictions and food allergies. As someone who has some food restrictions, I found it refreshing that the restaurant took the time to figure out which meals would be best for me. When the entrees arrived, it was clear heart and soul was put into the meal – the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Although the prices are a little on the more expensive side, this place will surely become a favorite for date nights or girls night out!
