With a total of 4 campuses and 17 colleges across the Phoenix metropolitan area, Arizona State University is one of the largest public universities in the U.S. Some popular majors include Business and Marketing, Engineering, and Biological Sciences. However, options are definitely not limited, especially when there are over 350 undergraduate majors to choose from. The Tempe campus is the largest and most popular among students. It is located in the center of Tempe and because streets are so busy here, public transit is quite easily accessed. Barrett, The Honors College
Barrett, is a residential college offered to students who excel academically. As a Barrett student, there will be extra fees to pay and courses to take. Every Barrett student is required to pay an additional fee of $750 each semester. In addition to being one of the nation’s top journalism schools, Cronkite also offers many real-world opportunities for students. They offer a wide variety of professional programs like Broadcasting, New Media Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Digital Production.
Campus Life/Events
Not only will you experience higher education at Arizona State, but you will also be able to experience many things going on around campus. There are many events hosted by clubs and student council for students to come socialize and have some fun. Events are hosted all over campus; in the Memorial Union, outside dormitories, and even at on the fields. There will always be something to do on campus.

Due to the size of the university, you can expect transportation in Tempe to be incredibly reliable. How to Get In
In order to be admitted into Arizona State, there are a few prerequisites that must be met. Other than some basic classes, applicants must receive a 22 on the ACT, a 1120 on the SAT, a 3.00 GPA, or be in the top 25% of their graduating class. Not including housing, dining, and other fees, tuition will cost $10,522 for in-state students and $27,372 for out-of-state students. There are options to live in dormitories or even rent apartments and homes near the campuses. On-campus housing, which are the dormitories, can range from $6,000 to $11,000 each year. Off-campus housing can range from hundreds of dollars to even over $1,000 each month. For dining, you choose from the different meal plans and dining halls they offer.
